The skin on her arm came from her leg. Alright thats the last of the accident pictures. She’s doing a lot better- needs one more surgery to remove the metal plates they put in her arm. We have to wait until she gets insurance for that though. The biggest problem now is a mental one.
-
Where the elbow flap came from. So brutal.
-
The underside of her arm- the thick cord looking thing underneath the skin graft is the bundle of veins and nerves that connects to the flap that was moved from her wrist to her elbow. It needs this “leash” so that it will survive.
-
After the third surgery- skin grafts and the “flap” on her elbow.
-
See all that blackness?? So scary.
-
Being admitted to the second hospital.
-
I took about 18 of her stitches out myself. It was awesome.
-
Changing my mom’s bandages at my house.
-
Going home from the first hospital far too soon.
-
Coolest bruise I’ve seen lately.
